Get ready for today's busy roads with CBT Plus

CBT Plus is a three-hour course that shows new riders how to survive the challenges they will face while out on the road.

You’ll learn how to spot hazards and handle your bike with greater confidence while cornering and travelling across junctions.

The normal cost of the training is £75 – but riders living in Derbyshire can enrol for just £15 thanks to a discount offered by Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership.

CBT Plus is designed to be completed at around the same time as the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) that all bikers must pass before they are allowed to ride on public roads.

All CBT Plus instructors are approved by the Driving Standards Agency.
